一些研究表明,各种种系动物的正常骨髓细胞都能在适当的细胞团刺激因子(CSF)作用下,在体外琼酯培养体系中生成细胞团。这种细胞团刺激因子广泛地存在于各种动物体内。近来,培养技术上的一个改进就是将琼酯培养体系注入扩散盒内(不含细胞团刺激因子),然后将扩散盒埋入经受射线照射的或正常小鼠腹腔内,在体内某些因子作用下,经过几天培养后产生与体外琼酯培养体系生成同样的细胞团。
