本文所述白柳坪组土地岭段,系指四川龙门山地区早泥盆世白柳坪组下部黑沟段(含 Protochonetes bailiupingensis-Orientospirifer 组合)和甘溪组(含 Dicoelostrophia- Eosophragmaphora 或 Rostrospirifer tonkinensis 组合)之间的一个地层单元。在标准地点,四川省北川县甘溪乡白柳坪村附近,其岩性以黄绿色页岩、灰黑色页岩、泥质粉砂岩、泥灰岩和灰岩等为主,分别组成2—3个沉积小旋迴,总厚94m。富含化石,并以含 Acrospirifer cf.primaevus-Neoathyrisina 等腕足动物组合为特征。
