工艺决策建模是CAPP开发工具的研究难点,亦是开发工具走向实用化和商品化的瓶颈所在。这里提出了一种决策建模的数学工具——层次分析法(AHP),可将复杂的工艺决策问题进行分解、判断和综合,并采用定性与定量相结合的统一处理方式来解决难以用数学模型定量描述的工艺决策的通用化建模问题。因此,采用一般方法难以描述的通用工艺决策建模问题,转而采用AHP法则能比较容易地满足不同制造企业的工艺设计需求。AHP法大大提高了系统的性能和适应性。
