语义学(产品语义学)最初来源于符号学理论。在符号学的定义中认为:社会之中的每一个人随时随地都在进行着语言与非语言的沟通行为,社会中一直进行传播意义与意识形态进行沟通。它是交流的一种理论方法,它的目的是建立广泛可应用的交流规则。室内陈设环境系统中的每一个要素,都应具有一定的指涉意义,因为只有通过指涉意义才能使陈设环境与外部事物(受众)建立起联系,才能实现作品或产品的传播功能。
Semantics (product semantics) originally came from semiotic theory. In the definition of semiotics, it is considered that everyone in the society conducts both verbal and nonverbal communication anytime, anywhere. In the society, communication meaning and ideology are always communicated. It is a theoretical approach to communication and its purpose is to establish widely applicable communication rules. Each element in the indoor furnishings environment system should be of some referential meaning, because only by referring to the meaning can the furnishings environment and external things (audiences) establish contact, in order to achieve the work or product communication function.
