《课标》在其第二部分“课程目标”中所指出的“高中数学课程的总目标”清晰地表明了,高中数学教育的终极目标有二:其一是使学生具备社会人素养的不可或缺组成因子的数学素养;另一是使学生具备进一步学习和发展所必需的数学基础.如是,学习潜能作为学生进一步学习和发展所必须的数学基础的“隐性”而又不可或缺的组成因子,其考查就极为自然地成为高考数学体现其“选拔”特征的首选.换言之,基于考试而主张高中数学的解题训练,学习潜能应该是必须且必要的关注点.
