巴赫(Bach)——这个听起来象两个八分音符那样简洁平和的词,在德语中正好是“小溪”的意思。然而,当贝多芬第一次看到一些巴赫的作品时,却惊叹道:“他不是小溪,是大海！”这句话形象地道出了乐圣贝多芬对巴赫才华的赏识和赞叹。 的确,巴赫音乐形式的多样,思想的深刻犹如大海,西欧音乐此后二百年来的发展,不论是器乐或声乐,室内乐或交响乐,主要形式都是在巴赫的创作影响下发展的,难怪巴赫被誉为西方古典音乐之父。
Bach - The simple, concise word that sounded like two eighth notes, exactly what “stream” means in German.
