机车是铁路运输的基本动力,当前,全路蒸汽机车台数占机车总台数的77.6％,配属于十九个铁路局130多个机务段,承担的铁路客、货运输量分别占总运量的70％和85％。全路由八个机车修理工厂承办大修,每年大修机车2,600余台,国家支付大修费11,700万元。因此,提高蒸汽机车质量,正确处理修用关系,对保证铁路运输生产有重要的意义。
Locomotives are the basic driving force of railway transportation. At present, the number of steam locomotives in the whole road accounts for 77.6% of the total number of locomotives, which are allocated to more than 130 locomotive depots of 19 railway agencies.
