随着煤田地质勘探工作的发展,太湖地区水域内勘探问题有待解决。太湖西岸煤层赋存条件较好,如能进行水上勘探,将为苏南缺煤区找出更多的煤炭资源。我队于一九七七年五月,试制成功了水下沉塔法的全套设备,经过水上打钻,证明效果良好。采用沉塔法进行水上勘探,为取得太湖水域内的第一性地质资料和今后开展水上勘探积累了经验。现将沉塔法水上打钻情况,简要介绍如下:
With the development of coalfield geological exploration, exploration in the Taihu Lake waters has yet to be solved. The coal seams on the west bank of Taihu Lake are in good condition. If water exploration can be conducted, more coal resources will be found in the coal-scarce area in southern Jiangsu. My team in May 1977, trial success of a full set of underwater sinking method of equipment, after drilling on water to prove good results. The use of the detention tower method for water exploration has accumulated experience for obtaining the first geological data in Taihu Lake watershed and for carrying out water exploration in the future. Shen tower method now drilling water situation, a brief introduction is as follows:
