领导者并不是去推动人们去做出改变,而是邀请大家加入到前进的旅途中,而且他们不断给大家更多的选择机会。他们会激发人们的自主的意识。例如:我们两个人坐在桌子旁,从一个帽子里面取出写有数字的小球,我们来预测某个数字出现的概率。如果是让我自己来取,我们就会认为机会更多一些(尽管这样的概率是一样的)。大多数人认为,如果给了他们机会,他们会做得更好。那么,什么是机会呢?从本质上来说,就是个人感到要对自己对所做的决定和行为负责任。一个人内心的想法通常是这样的:
Rather than pushing people to make changes, leaders are inviting everyone to move forward, and they continually give you more choices. They inspire people’s sense of autonomy. For example: The two of us are sitting at the table, taking the ball with the number from a hat, and we predict the probability of a number appearing. If it was for me to take it myself, we would think that the chances are more (although the probability is the same). Most people think they will do better if given the chance. So, what is the chance?
