一自上世纪90年代末以来,对文学名著进行改编以搬上话剧舞台,逐渐发展为一种潮流,出现了一批反响较大且颇得好评的作品,如赵耀民改编自王安忆同名小说的《长恨歌》(苏乐慈导演,上海人艺2002年首演),孟冰改编自陈忠实同名小说的《白鹿原》(林兆华导演,北京人艺2006年首演),喻荣军改编自英国女作家夏洛蒂·勃朗特同名小说的《简爱》(王晓鹰导演,国家大剧院2009年首演),张先、许绿伦改编自余华同名小说的《活着》
Since the late 90s of the last century, the literary masterpiece has been adapted to move onto the stage of drama and gradually developed into a kind of trend with a number of highly reputable and well-received works such as Zhao Yaomin’s adaptation of Wang Anyi’s novel “ Everlasting Sorrow ”(Su Le Ci, director of Shanghai Arts 2002 premiere), Meng Bing adapted from Chen Zhongshi’s novel“ White Deer ”(director Lin Zhaohua, Beijing Arts 2006 debut), Yu Rongjun adapted from British writer Charlotte · Bronte’s novel “Jane Eyre” (directed by Wang Xiaoying, premiere of the National Grand Theater in 2009), Zhang Xian and Xu Lulun’s “Living” adaptation of Yu Hua’s novel of the same name
