今天我们在这里举办王大珩教育与科学技术思想研讨会,深切缅怀王大珩先生。王大珩先生的教育与科技思想处处体现着一位大科学家的高瞻远瞩。作为原清华大学物理系原子分子与纳米学国家重点实验室主任,我想主要谈一下王大珩院士对原子分子与纳米学国家重点实验室建设和发展做出的卓越贡献。王大珩院士是我国建立发展一项跨世纪前沿学科的积极倡议者和推动者。二十世纪八十年代初,国际上美、苏两国首次成功实现了激光单原子探测,这是人类认识并操控微观物质运动的重要发展,它属于一项新生的基础科学研究的
Today we are here to hold Wang Daheng Seminar on Education and Science and Technology Thought, deeply cherishing the memory of Mr. Wang Daheng. Mr. Wang Daheng’s education and scientific thinking embodies the vision of a great scientist. As former Director of the State Key Laboratory of Atomic and Nanotechnology, Department of Physics, Tsinghua University, I would like to mainly talk about the outstanding contributions made by Academician Wang Daheng to the construction and development of the State Key Laboratory of Atomic and Nanotechnology. Academician Wang Daheng is an advocate and promoter of China’s establishment of a cross-century frontier subject. In the early 1980s, for the first time in the world, the United States and the Soviet Union succeeded in realizing laser single atom detection. This is an important development for human understanding and manipulation of the micro-material movement. It belongs to a new basic science research
