从肺心病患者痰中分离出１株产紫色水溶性色素的铜绿假单胞菌。通过对形态、培养特性、生化反应、底物用试验及药敏试验等共９０个性状的观察和试验作出鉴定。此株细菌尽管在基本性状上与铜绿假单胞菌完全符合，但在某些易变表型性状上确与临床常见菌株有些不同，例如产生紫色素，而不产脓青素，几乎不产荧光色素，不能使硝酸盐脱硝，不能在十二烷三甲基溴化铵培养基上生长等。但此菌的药敏试验则与常见菌株无甚区别。
Pseudomonas aeruginosa producing purple water-soluble pigment was isolated from sputum of patients with cor pulmonale. Through the morphology, culture characteristics, biochemical reactions, substrate test and susceptibility testing and so on a total of 90 traits observed and tested to identify. Although this strain of bacteria is completely consistent with Pseudomonas aeruginosa in its basic traits, it is indeed different from some common clinical strains in some of the mutable phenotypes. For example, it produces purple pigment and does not produce pyocyanin. It hardly produces Fluorescent pigment, nitrate can not denitrification, can not grow in dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide medium. However, the susceptibility test of this bacterium is not different from the common strains.
