中国西部地区交通发展战略研讨会在中国科协及其它有关学会的共同主持下,于1994年10月11日至13日在兰州召开。这些学会是铁路、公路、地理、航空、航海、石油、系统工程、自然资源、青藏高原等9个学会,以及西部新疆、青海、甘肃、四川、云南等6个省、自治区科协。有关部委领导、专家约125人参加了会议。 会议上,专家对中国西部地区交通发展这一涉及学科面广、对国家经济发展有重要作用的战略问题进行了学术研讨,内容涉及了综合
Under the co-sponsorship of China Association for Science and Technology and other relevant societies, the seminar on traffic development in western China was held in Lanzhou from October 11 to 13, 1994. These societies are nine societies of railways, highways, geography, aviation, navigation, petroleum, systems engineering, natural resources and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, as well as six provinces and autonomous regions such as Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan and Yunnan in western China. About 125 leaders and experts from relevant ministries attended the meeting. At the meeting, experts conducted a scholarly discussion on the strategic development of transportation in the western part of China, which involves a wide range of disciplines and plays an important role in the country's economic development.
