镇海石油化工总厂从日本引进的30万吨化肥装置中,在硫磺回收工段硫磺槽等设备上采用日本AR耐酸水泥作为内衬防腐蚀隔热材料。这种水泥用硅酸盐粉料,以石英为主长石为辅的粗细集料,粒度有40～80目和80～120目两种,并混有温石棉纤维,氟硅酸钠等。使用时按100份耐酸水泥加13～16份水(重量比)经机械或人工拌和均可。据该厂资料介绍,在施工方面与国内规范(TJ212-76)中规定相比有下列四方面的突破:
