牧草是牲畜的主要廉价饲料,可以保证牲畜发育健康;也是一种农业生产手段,可以提高土壤肥力;并且有缓流截淤,防止土壤冲刷的作用。但在栽培牧草之先,应充分明瞭其特性,尤其在我国各种不同的自然环境条件下,更有进一步深入研究的必要。本文系根据几年来经各农业机关试种证明,认为比较适合于我国的禾本科牧草,在武汉气候条件下生长情况的观察结果。现将第一年结果整理于后,以供参考。 Forage is the main low-cost livestock feed, livestock can ensure the healthy development; is also an agricultural means of production, can improve soil fertility; and slow flow of silt, to prevent soil erosion role.
