高碱度烧结矿是一个颇有历史的老课题。我国虽然早在六十年代初期就成功地生产出品质优良的高碱度和超高碱度烧结矿,但大多并没有能把这个成果按照高低碱度配合使用的设想投入到生产中去。但是,重庆钢铁公司在六十年代试验成功后,就转入生产,坚持到现在已经十四年。高碱度烧结矿的优良性能,使重钢高炉获得了巨大的效益,当碱度提高到3.10后,高炉撤除的熔剂量达865公斤/吨铁,焦比相利用系数随即得到大幅度的改善。如表1。
