泉州港发展集装箱运输潜力颇大,但困难也不少,其中落实保障政策,突出发展重点是关键所在一、发展现状1.集装箱码头建设向大型化、深水化发展泉州港从1997年的2个5000吨级集装箱码头泊位起步,至2013年年底已拥有3个建成投产的10万吨级多用途泊位,石湖5#-6#泊位、肖厝5#-6#等4个10万吨级多用途泊位正加快建设中。2.集装箱运输初步实现规模化经过20多年的持续发展,泉州港集装箱运输从无到有,并且成功成为百万标箱俱乐部成员,2013年共完成170.06万TEU,成为我国内贸集装箱运输枢纽港之一。
