本文报道了新发现的5幅标注了钓鱼岛及其附属岛屿的英文、德文和法文地图,分别出版于1806年到1862年间。这些地图都将钓鱼岛及其附属岛屿标识成与中国(包括大陆和台湾)同样的颜色,且都以中文的音译标注钓鱼岛及其附属岛屿的地名。上述数据表明,1895年以前,钓鱼岛及其附属岛屿已是中国领土,这一事实得到国际社会的认同。
This article reports on five newly-discovered maps of the Diaoyu Islands and their associated islands in English, German and French, published between 1806 and 1862, respectively. These maps mark the Diaoyu Island and its associated islands as the same color as China, including the Mainland and Taiwan, and all use the Chinese transliteration to label the names of Diaoyu Island and its associated islands. The above data show that before 1895, the fact that Diaoyu Island and its affiliated islands were already on Chinese territory was recognized by the international community.
