本研究依托国家级大学生创新创业训练计划,以大学英语自主学习和跨文化交际相关理论为指导,运用调查问卷和统计分析的手段对宿州学院非英语专业的多个学院的学生进行实证研究,调查涉及到了学生的英语运用水平、对英语国家的了解状况、以及跨文化交际能力现状等多个方面。结果显示:宿州学院非英语专业学生英语自主学习能力以及跨文化交际能力普遍偏弱。鉴于此,本研究团队针对非英语专业学生英语自主学习能力、跨文化交际中存在的问题以及成因进行了分析并提出了相应的建议,期冀能够提高非英语专业学生的英语自主学习能力和跨文化交际能力。
This research relies on the national college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship training program, guided by the relevant theories of college English self-learning and intercultural communication, and conducts empirical research on students of non-English major schools in Suzhou College by means of questionnaires and statistical analysis. It involves students’ English proficiency, understanding of English-speaking countries and the status quo of intercultural communicative competence. The results show that non-English majors’ self-learning ability and intercultural communicative competence in Suzhou University are generally weak. In view of this, the research team analyzed the problems and causes of non-English majors’ English self-learning ability, intercultural communication and put forward corresponding suggestions. The research team hopes to improve the English self-learning ability of non-English majors and cross Cultural communication skills.
