作为宋代思想文化中的重要概念,名节观在南宋时期从道德领域向政治领域进一步延伸,其政治特征日趋鲜明,展现出了具有时代特色的三重形态。南宋学者以“尊王攘夷”为政治目标,通过对君统、臣节的弘扬,以不主和议为要旨的名节观在士群体中得到了广泛认同。南宋中后期,名节观的政治内涵更加丰富。为阻遏权臣政治,理学家大力倡导直谏勇退的政治风范,士人的出处之道和进退之节被视为社稷存续的重要保障;在基层社会中,重义轻利的名节观被引入了政教体系,并作为地方官员的行为规范给予具体阐释,其导向作用对以后历代王朝都产生了深远的影响。
