大学文化与地域文化是两种共存的社会文化。大学文化具有唯理性、整体性、开放性的特征,地域文化则有地域性、亲缘性、潜在性、乡土性、传统性的特质。大学文化与地域文化互动发展,相互促进。大学不仅传播、弘扬优秀地域文化,还能够吸收优秀的地域文化,引领地域文化发展。大学能在深度和广度上进一步挖掘地域文化,深化地域文化的内涵,培育大学独特的文化。
University culture and regional culture are two kinds of coexistence of social culture. University culture has characteristics of rationality, integrity and openness. Regional culture has the characteristics of regionalism, affinity, potential, locality and tradition. University culture and regional culture interact and promote each other. Universities not only disseminate and promote outstanding regional culture, but also absorb excellent regional culture and lead the development of regional culture. The university can further excavate the regional culture in depth and breadth, deepen the connotation of the regional culture, and cultivate the unique culture of the university.
