继首次获得小麦─偃麦草─簇毛麦三属杂种后，又进行了小簇麦／小偃麦／／小黑麦异源多倍体间杂交，首次获得了小麦─堰麦草─簇毛麦─黑麦四属杂种。杂种Ｆ１形态兼有四属亲本类型的特征，为中间型，生活力旺盛，株穗数、株高、穗长、主穗小穗数的平均值均高于亲本的平均值，显示出较强的杂种优势。根据Ｆ１植株颜色、芒形、颖形、颖肩、颖嘴及颖脊刚毛、茎基鞘毛、颈毛的有无等主要性状与亲本比较分析，确证我们用三种异源双二倍体或部分双二倍体之间杂交，已获得了真正的四届杂种。杂种Ｆ１能少量结实。
