青年编辑的健康成长和有效成才,既是青年编辑个体的主观愿望,又是编辑工作发展的客观需要。本文根据笔者的所做所思,较为具体地剖析了青年编辑成长过程中的若干共性问题,愿对青年编辑同仁有所启发。 从1988年4月28日起,笔者已经在东南大学学报编辑部工作了8年。在这8年中,有过迷惘、虚度的经历,但更多的是兢兢业业地工作,实实在在地贡献,同时保持一种渴望进步的心态,并致力于使这种愿望得到支持,将这种愿望付诸实践。在笔者工作4年以后的1992年,对学报编辑工作的各个环节均已比较熟悉,但对现代化出版技术却几乎一无所知,故于1993年年初自费购置了386微机一台。同时从一般计算机技术和电子出版技术两个方面提高自己的编辑工作现代化水平,并为日后开始在职攻读博士学位作些知识储备。在第6年笔者获准参加了博士生入学考试,第7年正式进入在职攻读博士学位阶段,边工作边学习。也正是在进入第7年以后,在电子出版及相关技术的开发和利用,以及编辑工程学研究这两大方面,先后撰写多篇论文并被有关刊物采用。第8年又通过公开竞争被学校任命为东南大学学报副主编,所肩负的责任更大。回顾8年成长过程,笔者认为:主观上,自己把自己当回事,自己把自己的工作当回事,客观上,别人和所属部门自然会把自己当回事。这样
