自1991年刊出《再论何谓编辑》以后,我有幸得到姚福申等几位先生的批评。去年以来,又见到王耀先先生的《关于编辑、出版的概念和范畴的一点建议》(《出版科学,1993年第2期)、李长声先生的《漫说一个三角锥,出版的》(《读书,1993年第9期),特别是林穗芳先生的《“编辑”和“著作”概念及有关问题》(《编辑学刊,1994年第1期),受益甚多。深感编辑概念这基本理论问题的研究已日趋深入,不同观点的佳作并起,美不胜收,它或许可望成为出版科学中收获最大的一次学术讨论。而近两年来,为这讨论而询问和关心我的人颇多。于是,想到联系自己的读书心得,写这《三论何谓编辑》。
After I published “What to edit again” in 1991, I was fortunate to have been criticized by several gentlemen, including Yao Fushen. Since last year, we have also seen Mr. Wang Yaoxian’s “Some Suggestions on the Concepts and Categories of Editing and Publishing” (“Science of Publishing, No. 2, 1993)”, Mr. Li Changsheng’s “Manuscript of a Triangle Cone,” , No. 9, 1993). In particular, Mr. Lin Suifang’s “Editorial” and “The Concept of the Works and Related Issues” (Editorial Journal, No. 1, 1994) have benefited greatly. Deeply editing the concept of the basic theory of the problem has become more in-depth study of different points of view with excellent, beautiful, it may be expected to become the publishing science in the harvest of an academic discussion. In the last two years, there have been so many people asking and caring about me for this discussion. So, think of contact with their own reading experience, write this “three theory on what edit.”
