元认知是美国心理学家弗拉维尔(J.H.Flavell)在1976年提出的概念,它是指人对于自己认知活动的认知。而如果在合作学习活动中让学生进行自我评价,那就意味着学生要进行自我导向与控制,自我审视与诊断,自我促进与激励——这就是元认知。只有这样,才能对学生的合作意识、合作习惯和合作能力等方面进行全面了解;才能按学生心理、人格和社会发展实际,对学生合作学习的发展过程有一个评价标准;才能有的放矢地了解、组织、引导学生的合作学习。为此,我们以元认知理论为支撑,开始对小学生合作学习过程中自我评价进行探索。
