科技产业化与经济发展国际研讨会于2002年3月19～22日在香港会议展览中心举行,由香港科技大学主办。中国科学技术部部长徐冠华出席会议,并作了《推进高新技术产业化进程,加速经济结构的战略调整》的报告;广州市副市长林元和作了《珠江三角洲地区的未来规划》的报告;来自美国、英国、德国、加拿大、法国、意大利、澳大利亚、瑞典、以色列、新加坡、印度、韩国等国政府负责高科技产业化工作的官员、研究机构的专家及有关方面的专业人员、企业界人士等约110人与会,其中32名专家、教授作了专题报告。会议主要议程有:①专题报告;②参观广州南沙咨讯科技园;③参观广州科学城、天河软件园。会议报告内容集中在国家经验和高科技产业化成功的案例两个方面,在国家经验报告中,美国哥伦比亚大学讲座教授R.尼尔森介绍了美国国家支持高新技术发展的现状及做法;香港科技大学副校长林垂宙教授在其《科学成果产业化过程的分析架构》的报告中阐述了高新技术科研成果产业化过程及其必要的条件,徐冠华部长讲述了中国国家关于推进高新技术产业化进程的意义及相关政策;瑞典、新加坡、以色列和韩国的与会代表分别介绍了各自国家的高新技术产业化的发展情况及做法。来自印度的Ashok Soota先生、美国麻省理工学院的Lira Nelsen女士及广州南沙咨询园有限公司技术市场经理林美玲女士等作了高新技术产业化成功案例的介绍。
International Symposium on Industrialization and Economic Development of Science and Technology was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from March 19 to March 22, 2002 and hosted by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Xu Guanhua, Minister of Science and Technology of China, attended the meeting and made a report titled “Promoting the Industrialization of High-tech Industry and Accelerating the Strategic Adjustment of Economic Structure”; Lin Yuanhe, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou Municipality, made a report on “Planning for the Future of the Pearl River Delta Region”; Officials responsible for the industrialization of high-tech industries in the United States, Britain, Germany, Canada, France, Italy, Australia, Sweden, Israel, Singapore, India and South Korea, experts in research institutions, professionals in relevant fields, businesspeople, etc. About 110 people attended the meeting, of which 32 experts and professors made special reports. The main agenda of the meeting includes: ① special report; ② visit Guangzhou Nansha Zhisu Science Park; ③ visit Guangzhou Science City, Tianhe Software Park. The report focused on two aspects of national experience and successful high-tech industrialization. In the national experience report, Professor R. Nielsen, a lecturer at Columbia University, introduced the status quo and practices of the U.S. state in supporting high-tech development. Deputy Hong Kong University of Science and Technology In his report “Analysis Framework for the Industrialization of Scientific Achievements,” Professor Lin Zhizhou described the industrialization process of high-tech scientific research and the necessary conditions for the industrialization. The Minister Xu Guanhua described the significance of the national progress on the industrialization of high-tech and the related Policy; participants from Sweden, Singapore, Israel and South Korea respectively introduced the development and practice of high-tech industrialization in their respective countries. Mr. Ashok Soota from India, Ms. Lira Nelsen from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Ms. Lin Meiling, Technical Marketing Manager of Guangzhou Nansha Consulting Co., Ltd. introduced the successful cases of high-tech industrialization.
