成釉细胞瘤多发生在下颌的臼齿区,很少发生在上颌骨,而更少发生在口腔软组织。作者报告经组织学证实的24例上颌骨成釉细胞瘤,其中16例有完整的随访资料。本组病变主要位于上颌后部,仅2例发生在前部,半数病例侵犯上颁窦。在复发的8例中有6例(75%)侵犯窦腔。2例直接死于窦的侵犯。1例转移到双肺及侵犯脑垂体,另1例因颅内肿瘤进行性扩展死亡。记载有症状和征象的22例中,局部肿胀占20例(91%)6例(25%)有口腔溃烂。复发病例50% Ameloblastomas mostly occur in the mandibular caries, rarely in the maxilla, and less in the oral soft tissue. The authors reported 24 histologically proven ameloblastomas of the maxilla, 16 of which had complete follow-up data. This group of lesions is mainly located in the posterior maxilla, only 2 cases occurred in the front, half of the cases invaded the superior sinus. Six of the 8 relapsed cases (75%) violated the sinus cavity. Two cases directly died of sinus invasion. One patient had metastasized to both lungs and invaded the pituitary gland. The other patient died of progressive intracranial tumor growth. Among the 22 cases with symptoms and signs, local swelling accounted for 20 cases (91%) and 6 cases (25%) had oral ulcers. 50% of relapse cases
