地震是地壳运动的一种表现形式,而地壳运动又是由于在地下有一股强大的力量不断作用或推动的结果。因此,研究一个地区的构造应力场特征,将有助于人们认识地震的分布及其活动的规律性。
Earthquakes are a manifestation of crustal movement, which in turn is the result of a continual force or advance of a powerful force underground. Therefore, studying the characteristics of tectonic stress field in a region will help people to understand the distribution of earthquakes and the regularity of their activities.
