会议于1986年4月11日至13日在四川成都召开,参加会议的有19个省、自治区、直辖市的卫生防疫站或寄生虫病防治研究所,卫生部地方病防治局,中国预防医学科学院及所属的寄生虫病研究所等单位代表,以及全国疟疾专题委员会流行病学专题组成员共46人。各省、自治区、直辖市代表汇报了1985年疟疾疫情和1983～1985年疟疾防治规划执行情况,讨论了当前疟防工作中存在的问题,对卫生部制订疟疾防治工作“七五”规划提出了建议。
The meeting was held in Chengdu, Sichuan from April 11 to 13, 1986. The meeting was attended by health and epidemic prevention stations of 19 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, or the Institute of Parasitic Diseases, the endemic disease prevention and control bureau of the Ministry of Health, the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine and Its affiliated institute of parasitic diseases and other units representatives, as well as a total of 46 members of the Epidemiological Task Force of the National Malaria Committee. Representatives of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government reported on the malaria outbreak in 1985 and the implementation of the malaria control program from 1983 to 1985, discussed the existing problems in the current malaria prevention work and put forward suggestions on the “Seventh Five-Year” plan for the malaria prevention and control work set by the Ministry of Health.
