为了探索卫星象片在我国林业生产上应用的程度和如何把它广泛地用于林业生产中,我们针对这一问题,于1980年7月,利用卫星象片信息量多、密度分割仪可以进行彩色增强和能将图象放大30倍的特点,提出把1:1000000的黑白陆地卫星片,按假彩色等密度分割原理摄制成1:50000或更大比例尺的彩色增强放大卫星片。然后在其上进行判读和分类的研究。以解决卫星象片比例尺小,不能划分细部地类的问题。我们利用1976年8月27日第二颗陆地卫星7波段1:1000000黑白透明卫星片,以伊春地区为场地进行初步试验,取得的成果为:
