某大型医院病案部门通过分析当前编码员的工作现状,应用头脑风暴法和问卷调查法等方法,结合关键绩效指标和平衡记分卡的指导思想,设计出一套专门针对编码员的绩效考核体系,通过在病案软件中手工录入或自动采集原始考核数据,计算出不同编码员的绩效考核得分并用于对编码员的工作状态进行评价。在对编码员实施绩效考核后,编码员的工作效率得到大幅提升,编码水平不断提高,并且过去一些难以实施的工作,在实施绩效考核后得到顺利开展。绩效考核作为一种有效的管理手段,应得到合理应用与推广。
