近年来,人们利用现代细胞生物学技术,对微波辐射的生物学作用和机制做了深入的研究。发现经微波照射后的细胞,在细胞、亚细胞及分子水平上产生一系列的变化,导致细胞形态发生改变;细胞膜通透性增加;酶活性下降;分裂指数减少;DNA合成受抑制以及染色体断裂等。在肿瘤治疗中,利用微波加热可选择性地杀伤癌细胞,与化疗和放疗联合应用可提高其治疗效果。
