硫酸基转移酶(sulfotransferase,SULT)是机体催化多种内源性和外源性复合物硫酸化代谢的关键酶。人类SULT基因家族主要有:SULT1,SULT2,SULT4和SULT6,已确定的家族成员至少有13个。人体内能催化雌激素硫酸化的SULT主要包括SULT1E1,SULT1A1,SULT1A3和SULT2A1,其中SULT1E1对雌激素的亲和力最强,与雌激素的代谢密切相关。近年研究发现,子宫肌瘤、子宫内膜癌等妇科肿瘤中SULT1E1和SULT1A1表达异常,并发现SULT1E1和SULT1A1基因多态性与妇科肿瘤易感性相关。
Sulfotransferase (SULT) is a key enzyme in the body that catalyzes the sulfation metabolism of many endogenous and exogenous complexes. The human SULT gene family are mainly: SULT1, SULT2, SULT4 and SULT6, at least 13 family members have been identified. SULTs that catalyze the sulfation of estrogens in the human body mainly include SULT1E1, SULT1A1, SULT1A3 and SULT2A1, of which SULT1E1 has the strongest affinity for estrogen and is closely related to estrogen metabolism. Recent studies have found that abnormal expression of SULT1E1 and SULT1A1 in gynecological tumors such as uterine fibroids and endometrial carcinoma, and found that SULT1E1 and SULT1A1 gene polymorphisms and gynecologic oncological susceptibility.
