为了农作物持续高产稳产,并做到用地与养地相结合,1978~1979年我们在义县义州镇公社西关二队进行了玉米套种草木樨试验.一、试验情况与结果试验地40亩,冲积沙壤土,肥力中等,供试品种丹玉6号玉米、二年生草木樨.试验是在一般生产条件下进行的.设两个处理,大小垄玉米(2.5+1.9)×0.8尺套种草木樨,大小垄玉米(2.5×1.9)×0.8尺清种,以2.1尺大垄清种为对照.结果,大小垄套绿肥的玉米亩产1,026斤,比大小垄清种玉米897斤,增产14.4%,比2.1尺大垄玉米819斤,增产25.3%.套种区的绿肥,亩产鲜草817斤.
