茶树的特点是能合成大量的酚类化合物,特别是合成黄烷醇类化合物。在茶树嫩梢中主要是简单儿茶素和没食子酸酯儿茶素(黄烷—3—醇)占优势。正是由于这个原因,人们利用茶树嫩梢作为制茶之用。此外,茶树的酚类化合物(儿茶素和原花青素)还具有增强毛细血管弹性(维生素 P)的作用,因此在医学中应用,受到人们广泛重视。
Tea tree is characterized by the synthesis of large amounts of phenolic compounds, especially synthetic flavanols. Among the tea shoots, predominantly simple catechin and gallate catechin (flavan-3-ol) predominate. It is for this reason that people use tea shoots as tea preparation. In addition, the tea tree phenolic compounds (catechins and proanthocyanidins) also has the role of enhancing capillary elasticity (vitamin P), so its application in medicine, has drawn great attention.
