万县地区是四川柑桔生产基地之一,气候温和,雨量充沛,年平均温度19℃,最低温度-1.6℃,适宜柑桔生长发育。全区现有柑桔树1200万株,其中结果树约300万株,1980年产柑桔94万担,预计到1985年产量将达130万担。目前柑桔经营中存在的主要问题是:上市集中,运输困难,经营设施差,腐损率大,供市时间短,不能满足人民生活日益增长
Wanxian Prefecture is one of the citrus production bases in Sichuan. It has a mild climate and abundant rainfall with annual average temperature of 19 ℃ and minimum temperature of -1.6 ℃, which is suitable for citrus growth and development. There are 12 million citrus trees in the region, of which about 3 million are trees. In 1980, Citrus was produced with 940,000 dams. It is estimated that by 1985, the output will reach 1.3 million d. At present, the main problems in the management of citrus are: concentration in the market, difficulties in transportation, poor management facilities, large corruption rate, short supply time for the market and inability to meet the growing needs of the people
