From June 13 to June 19, 2005, the 46th Paris Air Show was held at Le Bourget Airport in the northeastern suburbs of the French capital. I visited the current air show with the delegation. Although it was a fly-by, I also learned a lot. Now I have recorded the main impressions of this airshow as follows, and share the rewards with readers of Aviation Knowledge. Airshow Overview The scale of this year’s aerospace exhibition is relatively large. Compared with the 45th Paris Air Show, the exhibition time was shortened from 9 days to 7 days, but exhibitors had a larger increase than the previous session. The number of participating countries and regions reached 41 and countries such as Morocco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Slovakia participated for the first time. There were 1916 exhibitors and related organizations, which was significantly higher than 1703 in 2003. The number of visitors was 480,000, which was 180,000 more than the previous session. A total of 238 aircraft objects were displayed on the scene in various countries and regions, of which more than 60 aircraft performed.
