红山钼矿公司的红山矿位于加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省罗斯兰德城西北1.5哩。矿山位于红山侧面,过去曾因生产金—铜矿石而出名。矿山和选矿厂于1966年5月建成,7月1日即达到设计能力日处理量400吨。矿体赋存在红山西侧,在该公司的矿区范围内到处都有辉钼矿的矿化现象,设计时已探明三个矿体,目前第四矿体亦粗具轮廓。现采用露天法开采“A”矿体。该矿体长450呎,宽220呎,厚40～60呎,倾斜33°,矿石储量为312,000吨。
The Hongshan Molybdenum Company’s Hongshan Mine is located 1.5 miles northwest of Roseland, British Columbia, Canada. Located on the side of the Red Hill, the mine was once famous for its gold-copper ores.
