In coal mines in order to improve production efficiency, the amount of mining concentrated in a few mining face, which requires a substantial increase in mining speed. For this reason, the investment in mechanization and automation equipment required for the work surface is high, and such a high investment is economically viable only if the continuity of the recovery process is unobstructed. However, this continuity is often interrupted by tectonic faults that unexpectedly appear in front of the mining area. Faults that fall from decimeters to meters can be particularly difficult because these faults are often difficult to deal with when they are designed reliably.
