泌阳凹陷位于河南唐河县与泌阳县之间,东西长50km,南北宽30km。是在秦岭地轴上发育的南深北浅单断式“箕形”凹陷。南面落差8000米的边界同生大断层控制了凹陷的形成、发育。沉积岩最厚8300米。凹陷南、东、北三面毗邻前震且古老岩系,西面以唐河低凸起与南阳凹陷相隔。 图1表示了从下第三系古新统凹陷形成到渐新统后期回返的沉积旋回。凹陷从生成→发展→回返,岩性从红、粗→黑、细→红、粗,环境从河流→湖盆→河流、残留盐湖,构成完整旋回。核桃园组三段、二段为湖盆发育的全盛阶段,构成凹陷主要生储油岩系。
Biyang sag is located between Tanghe County and Biyang County in Henan Province, 50km long from east to west and 30km wide from north to south. Is developed in the Qinling axis of South deep north single fault-type “Kei-shaped” depression. The south side of the 8000-meter drop boundary with the formation of large fault control the formation of depression, development. Sedimentary rock the thickest 8300 meters. The south, east and north sides of the depression are adjacent to the foreshock and the ancient rock series, while the low level of the Tanghe low uplift is separated from the Nanyang depression in the west. Figure 1 shows the sedimentary cycles from the formation of the Paleocene depression to the later Oligocene. Depression from the formation → development → return, lithology from red, coarse → black, fine → red, rough, environment from the river → lake → river, residual salt lake, constitute a complete cycle. The third section of the Walnut Formation and the second stage are the heyday of the lake basin development, forming the main source rocks of the depression.
