我是一个年近六旬的老职工。1965年10月至1976年3月的11年间先后患过肺癌及两次鼻咽癌,曾经历了两次手术及化疗、放疗。至今病情稳定,重新走上了工作岗位。自1981年1月21日《羊城晚报》以“同癌症斗争十五年”为题,报导了我与癌病斗争的消息后,许多病友来信要我详谈与癌病斗争的体会。现谈几点供病友参考与共勉:
I am an old worker who is nearly sixty years old. From October 1965 to March 1976, he suffered from lung cancer and two nasopharyngeal carcinomas in the 11 years from now. He has undergone two operations of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Has a stable condition, back onto the job again. Since the January 21, 1981, “Yangcheng Evening News” titled “Fifteen Years of Struggle with Cancer,” after reporting the news of my fight against cancer, many patients have written letters asking me to elaborate on the experience of fighting cancer.
