In order to help cancer patients adjust their minds and choose treatment options, many major hospitals in the United States have launched a “cancer coaching” campaign to invite experienced cancer patients to guide patients who have just been diagnosed. The original patient now became a coach, which is really a long time ill. After learning about the disease and experiencing initial shocks, cancer patients began to face the confusion of knowing the disease and choosing a treatment plan. The American Cancer Society found in the survey that the support of relatives and friends is very important for cancer patients, but the advice they give is often non-professional and sometimes affects the patient’s choice of treatment.
