China’s newspaper industry in 2012 can use “some autumn cold” to describe its situation. The era of huge profits of newspapers has become an old dream in the past. The reality of 2012 is that the advertising distribution has shrunk in all directions and people are required to re-prepare for a tight life. In order to turn the tide in both, what is needed is the power to return to heaven. Deepening the reform has become the only way to affect the survival of China’s newspaper industry.
