高等职业教育中的机械制造与数控专业实验室或工程实训中心的建设是教学实践环节的保证。用于实践教学的实验室的建立要解决的问题包括实践教学规模、实践教学设施的容量、实践教学或工程训练中心的管理以及如何实现实践教学设施的充分利用等。提高实践教学设施的开放时间,做好教学与生产相结合用以补充实践教学的经费,把实践教学和培训工作纳入工程实训中心的管理工作中,增加实践教学和工程训练中心的社会认同度。
