When McCarthyism in the United States came to an end 40 years ago, many American left-wing people have made many relevant writings. It is not hard to understand that these left-wing people were most affected by McCarthyism. From 1946 to 1957, the U.S. right-wing set off all-out denunciations of the Communist Party in the United States and even the general liberals were not spared. Many politicians, such as Nixon, have benefited greatly from it. Almost all Americans today scoff at McCarthyism to varying degrees.
