严复深受西方近代早期唯物主义认识论的影响,特别是弗兰西斯·培根建立在科学自然观基础上唯物主义认识论的影响,文章着重研究培根感性与理性联姻的辩证思想对严复认识论形成的影响,以及他对西方近代经验主义和逻辑学的吸收与重视,对于近代中国哲学的发展和中国传统哲学的发展有着重要的引导意义,对融会中西哲学有筚路蓝缕之功。
Yan Fu was greatly influenced by early Western modern materialist epistemology, especially the influence of Francis Bacon’s materialist epistemology based on the concept of scientific nature. The article focuses on the influence of the dialectical thinking of the relationship between Bacon’s sensibility and rationality on the formation of Yan Fu’s epistemology , As well as his absorption and emphasis on modern Western empiricism and logic, have an important guiding significance for the development of modern Chinese philosophy and the development of Chinese traditional philosophy, and have made great achievements in the integration of Chinese and Western philosophy.
