陈廖宇,男,1971年生人。毕业于北京电影学院动画学院动画专业。现为北京电影学院动画学院副教授、动画学院奖评委会主席。他是手机电影概念发起人,被冠以“打造3G时代的娱乐英雄”的头衔,所创立的黑匣子网站(www.blackboxtv.cn)被定位于未来的手机视频娱乐平台、中国第一个闪媒体。从16年前来北京读书,他就没有再离开过北影。16年的学院生活让他比同龄人更单纯。他用简单的方式生活,袒露本真的状态,反倒活得肆意快活。虽然刚工作时穷到身上没有一分钱,也曾被迫住进办公室和一间快要倒塌的简易房,但这些从未妨碍他的快乐。他喜欢空想,在他看来,空想不仅是种乐趣,而且是天赋人权,因为空想不需要成本。他认为能做几件在旁人眼里没有意义的事儿的人是最牛的,这种“务虚”没有让他潦倒,反倒促使他成为中国手机拍电影的第一人。从2005年7月开始,他进行了一系列的手机电影拍摄实验,拍摄了中国第一部手机电影《苹果》。他认为手机电影是电影平民化的终极表现,它极可能成为一股新的娱乐潮流,并创造全新的手机影像文化。 Chen Liao Yu, male, born in 1971.
