XORP是工业界重要的可扩展开放路由平台,其边界网关协议(BGP)模块虽然满足了BGP4+的要求,但仍需进行多协议扩展以满足新的需求。该文通过研究如何在XORP中对BGP进行多协议扩展以满足4over6和多协议标签交换虚拟专用网(MPLSVPN)的需求,总结出一种通用的扩展方法:将非传统多协议BGP(MPBGP)报文形式转换为传统形式并添加相应的BGP管道。在XORP中根据该方法进行扩展的4over6MPBGP已经成功应用于4over6过渡机制。实验结果表明,4over6MPBGP的性能与IPv6单播BGP的性能相当。
XORP is an industry-wide, scalable and open routing platform. Although its Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) module meets the requirements of BGP4 +, XORP still needs to be extended to meet the new requirements. By studying how to extend the multi-protocol BGP in XORP to meet the requirements of 4over6 and MPLSVPN, this paper summarizes a common extension method: the non-traditional multi-protocol BGP (MPBGP) Text format conversion to the traditional form and add the corresponding BGP pipe. 4over6MPBGP, which is extended according to this method in XORP, has been successfully applied to the 4over6 transition mechanism. The experimental results show that 4over6MPBGP has the same performance as IPv6 unicast BGP.
