紫穗槐分墩造林,我县很早就提倡,但由于过去采用整墩刨出,再劈开造林的办法,费工、费力,分得少、速度慢,群众中一直推不开。在1978年春季植树造林活动中,我县一些社队干部、群众摸索出了一种简便易行的紫穗槐分墩造林方法,很受群众欢迎。几年来,已普及到全县,推广到地区,加速了紫穗槐的发展。现将这种分墩造林的效果及方法介绍如下: 1.分墩造林效果:从调查结果可以看出,分墩造林只要有墒情保证,在一般土质条件下,造林成活率可在85%以上,同时当年新条一般都可以搞编织利用。并且,可以使老槐墩更新复壮(见表1、2)。
