The 200th European Carbon Conference (the 1st International Carbon Conference) was held in Berlin, Germany from July 9th to March 1st, 2000. Representatives from 30 countries and regions participated. The conference received 502 papers, including materials and precursors accounted for 10%; adsorption and surface sciences accounted for 26%; carbonization and graphitization accounted for 7%; fibers and complexes accounted for 1 4%; carbon interface and chemical modification 8%; Reaction and Catalysis
